02 drug peddlers arrested in Kulgam | KNO

Srinagar, March 30:Two drug peddlers were arrested by Kulgam Police and recovered contraband substance from their possession.

Two drug peddlers, later identified as Gurdiyal Massi son of Darshan resident of Kooperthla Punjab and Ravi Singh son of Dilber Singh resident of Jaspal Amratsar were arrested by a Police Party of Police Post JT during naka checking at security check post JT. They were travelling in a SRTC passenger bus bearing registration number JK01Y-0624 which was on way to Jammu from Srinagar.

09 Kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from their possession. Kulgam police has registered a case FIR number 66/2018 under section 8/15 NDPS in this regard and investigation was taken up.
